Season for Nonviolence Event: Community Workshop with Azim Khamisa

In this Season for Nonviolence Event, Azim Khamisa will present a community workshop incorporating his message of forgiveness, peace and hope, cosponsored by New Dawn Center for Spiritual Living, the Aurora Police Department and the Aurora School District.
Following the murder of his only son Tariq in 1995, Azim chose the path of forgiveness and compassion rather than revenge, and established the Tariq Khamisa Foundation. Azim was named "Spiritual Hero of the Year" by the United Centers for Spiritual Living magazine, Science of Mind, and his work has been praised by the Dalai Lama and former President Bill Clinton, among other dignitaries.
Azim brings the depth of this experience into this community workshop. This event is open to the public, and a $10 donation is suggested. For more information, contact the Center Office.
