Our Philosophy

Our faith is not a revelation to some particular individual or to any one group of persons. Rather, it is an outcome or a putting together of the best that the ages have discovered. Science of Mind starts with the simple proposition that God, which means the Life Principle or Creative Cause, is an immediate Presence not only around, but also within every person.Like most people, you probably believe in some power greater than you are. You may believe that some invisible law, force, and intelligence governs everything in the universe, and you endeavor to discover your immediate relationship to this Power and establish yourself in such conscious unity with It that you will become a partner in Its activities.We believe that as you investigate your divinity and the possibilities that go with it, you will find yourself transformed. The sum and substance of our philosophy, our faith, and our way of life resolves itself into this: The Universe is made up of a Divine Infinite Presence, an Intelligence and supreme Spirit which responds to everyone because It is incarnated in everyone. This response is immediate and personal. The Universe is also a system of Law and Order, and you are surrounded by a Creative Principle that responds to the impress of your thought and acts upon it exactly as you think. These are the great realities with which we deal.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in the incarnation of the Spirit in us and that we are incarnations of the One Spirit...

We believe in the externality, the immortality, and the continuity of the individual soul, forever and ever expanding...

We believe that the kingdom of Heaven is within us and that we experience this kingdom to the degree that we become conscious of it...

We believe the ultimate goal in life to be a complete emancipation from all discord of every nature, and that this goal is sure to be attained by all...

We believe in the unity of all life, and that the highermost God and the innermost God is one God...

We believe in the direct revelation of the Truth through our intuitive and spiritual nature, and that we may become a revealer of Truth by living in close contact with the indwelling God...

We believe that the Universal Spirit, which is God, operates through a Universal Mind which receives the direct impress of our thoughts through the power of this Mind...

We believe that we are responsible for conditions through the power of this Mind...

We believe in the eternal Goodness, the eternal Loving-Kindness, and the eternal Givingness of life to all...

We believe in our own soul, our own spirit, and our own destiny; for we understand that our Spirit is God.
