Season for Nonviolence Events, new Messenger...and more!!
New Dawn's Youth and Teen programs are designed to offer age appropriate opportunities and content for individuals to learn about the importance of spirituality and tools available to assist them in life!
New Dawn Center for Spiritual Living offers a wide variety of programs and classes for the youth and teens. Each Sunday during service, we have classes that teach the basic concepts of Science of Mind and Spirit with age appropriate content. Teens meet in a separate space from the youth and each has their own curriculum and facilitators. New Dawn also provides child care for infants and toddlers during service.
In addition to Sunday service programs, New Dawn has a dedicated staff who design special events and classes for different age groups. Some of the programs that New Dawn has held for teens and younger people include:
Teen Tech Tips Event--youth taught their elders how to use new technology and raised money for summer camp attendance.
Youth petting zoo--youngsters got a chance to interact with animals of all types right in the parking lot of New Dawn!
Lattes after service--youth sell lattes after service to raise money for camp.
Teen "Beyond Limits" class--teens got the opportunity to take the life changing class that teaches you skills in spirituality and the power of positive thinking.
Youth Easter Egg Hunt--New Dawn hosts an annual Easter Egg Hunt for the entire community in an Aurora area park.
.....and lots more!
