If you are familiar with the teachings of Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, “The Secret”, then you have already had a basic introduction to the teachings of the Science of Mind and Spirit…the philosophy that is the cornerstone of New Dawn. These popular teachings spring from aspects of a philosophy called “New Thought” (even though they originated in many teachers reaching back hundreds of years).
Science of Mind and Spirit draws from the wisdom of the ages yet melds it with the latest findings of science. In a sense, it is an “integral” teaching that reaches into science, philosophy and religion and is “open at the top”….meaning that it continues to grow as new discoveries help us understand the meanings of our lives.
Science of Mind and Spirit teaches us that there is an underlying unity to all of life. The concept of God is not the myth of the old man in the sky but rather that God (or divine intelligence) is both a power and a presence that transcends and includes all of life. As we are spiritual beings, that power is available to us and we can direct our lives through the power of our thoughts, words and actions.
